I'm not an expert teacher or lecturer of chemistry. I was only a student from SMA NEGERI 15 SURABAYA who had been one of the Bronze Medalist Participants of Olimpiade Sains Nasional X (2011) of Chemistry In Manado, North Sulawesi, 11 - 16 September 2011 and graduated in 2012. Now, I'm studying at Universitas Airlangga in Surabaya, Indonesia. I do love chemistry and I would like to help them who had difficulties in studying chemistry. That's why, please understand me if you found some misconcepts in my entries. Suggestions are always necessary in order to develop this blog. And I'm sorry because my English isn't so well.

Energi Ikat Inti

Einstein memberikan teori berupa teori relativitas berhubungan dengan reaksi inti pada suatu atom dengan bunyi pernyataannya adalah, "Energi ikatan inti adalah energi yang dibutukan untuk memisahkan nukleus menjadi komponen - komponennya (Neutron dan Proton)."

Persamaan Energi Ikat Inti oleh Einstein:

∆E = ∆m c2

Dengan:

∆E = Energi ikat inti (J)

∆m = Cacat massa / Perubahan massa atom (kg)

c = Kecepatan Cahaya


Perlu kita ketahui bahwa massa proton adalah 1,007825 sma, massa neutron adalah 1,008665 sma, dan massa elektron adalah 5,4859 x 10-4 sma.

Dan 1 kg adalah 6,022 x 1026 sma.

Energi ikat inti juga dapat dinyatakan dalam satuan MeV (Mega elektron volt) dengan mengganti persamaan menjadi:

∆E = ∆m x 931

Dan 1 MeV setara dengan 1,602 x 10-3 J.

Contoh soal:

Hitunglah energi ikat inti dari atom Nitrogen-14 dalam MeV dan Joule!
(Jawab: 104,542 MeV dan 0,1675 J)
